hi tom well I done it anyways lol
now I don't have flashing strobe or clicking
just constant flashing standby light

I measured big cap again with and without inverter
both measurements give 331-333 powered

any more thoughts

The cap you used are probably bad (leaky, or poorly formed), causing the fault (hence my insistence to use new capacitors, it's not a joke); or,
you've soldered something wrong.

ill post up a picture mate theres a load of caps under one of the heatsinks on the psu

could it be the ic mate just a thought anything else to check the clicking surging noise has stopped just standbylight flashes fast constantly

Try putting the original caps back in to see if the first symptoms come back.

What are the colours printed on it? I can't read them

tom its hard to make out but its only 4 bands red blue sliver and silver or gold n gold

what can I use

I used calc if silver I can use 0.26 ohms 10%

if gold 2.6 ohms 5%

what else could I use if ilooked about house as don't think I have those

You would need to source an exact replacement;
I do not know which value you can use if the colour code cannot be read.

remove the resistor and move to a very good light area you should be able to see the colour bands then.

new resistors and caps in place
back to same symptoms strobing effect tv not starting up
can I ask do caps make that clicking noise like spiking
if so I found another 10uf 50v 105c under the left heatsink theres also 2 other components under the this heatsink but it seems like the clicking surge sound coming from this cap

The cap wouldn't be making the sound, but it's possible that it is bad and something around there is faulty; getting that cap out may prove difficult due to the god-awful cage heatsink design. The sound is probably coming from the PFC inductor. The control IC (which the cap provides bulk supply for) is switching the boost function on and off, causing the inductor to make the sound.

tom going to to puts up of under that heatsink I wonder if could be the mosfets theres 4 small 1's on the right of heat sink and 1 large on left side how to test these

If the FETs were bad, the fuse would almost certainly blow.
Checking the IC is difficult, you can check the voltage across that cap and do some resistance checks, but not much else.

well heres the pics anything else you want me to test
cap has been replaced with new one same value
have not tested yet as don't want to resolder the heatsink on till the other components mosfets etc tested

would it be worth testing the fuse mate

You wouldn't have anything (power light, etc) with blown fuse.
If you post a picture under that cap then a few things can be checked.
