I have a philips in to repair
it comes on picture is like this sorry I have no cam but you get the idea

the bottom black bit is still lit up though any help tom

Probably has 720p main board in when it uses 1080p panel. You can change panel setting from the service menu. Check the chassis label for the option codes, and refer to the service documentation to adjust.

You have a bad LCD panel - tab bonds. May be fixable.

it did but though it was rectified not to worry ill strip it again
