Hi all I picked up this set today with greeny blue vertical line. It does not go all the way to the top, could this be a panel failure or dry solder joint. I have take lcd panel ribbon cables our and re seated them no joy

The panel is bad, common with some older LCD panels.Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

thought as much tom, i had a hunch it was a bad panel when they said you could see the blue line when you turned the set off, i had to change two blown and bulging caps. apart from that all the boards look good, cheers tom
