Re: crown ctt3207w lcd tv
thought as much tom, i had a hunch it was a bad panel when they said you could see the blue line when you turned the set off, i had to change two blown and bulging caps. apart from that all the boards look good, cheers tomComment

by Tr0llHi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.
The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.
Original T-con:
Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.
First replacement T-con:
I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)... -
by RubenlilyHey,
So I have horizontal lines on my TV and I'm trying to trouble shoot. My question about the ribbon is:
When I disconnect one ribbon from the t-con I should get half picture working and other half black or something like that correct? But when I disconnect the ribbon on one side I just get a dark screen and it doesn't matter what side I disconnect. I just get the dark screen. No half working, no one half black and the other one left. Sound is playing from the TV so it's obviously on and when both sides are connected I have the picture with the horizontal lines... -
by ScincidaeI recently was given a UN70NU6900FXZA that would only boot loop once plugged in (auto powers on when plugged in). I found that disconnecting the lower (right side) LVDS ribbon, then plugging the TV in, followed by reconnecting the lower LVDS ribbon will allow the TV to work 100% normal as far as I can tell (no lines, no discoloration, no dimming or anything like that).
I tried the tape method on the lower LVDS ribbon and found that if I cover pins 10 and 11 (counting from the bottom up) allows the TV to boot normal but 25% screen all the way to the right side is discolored. While... -
by kcaHello all ~
I have this LG 50" plasma tv that is in perfect working condition except for the fact that it has one (and only one), singular torn ribbon strip on one (and only one) of the 8 orange ribbon connectors that feed from the Y-Sustain to the screen itself.
So, as a result, there is one, singular thin black horizontal line that goes across the entire screen. Distracting enough to render the picture unwatchable for all intents and purposes.
What I am wondering is if anyone out there has ever had any success in fixing one of these ribbon cables... -
by chzuckI have an HP ZBook 15 G3 that has developed a problem. If picked up by the lower left hand corner the screen freezes. nothing responds. The only way to shut if down is to hold the power button down. I can restart and it will work fine until it is bumped or picked up on the left lower side. Looking for some trouble shooting ideas, please.
I have eliminated by battery by disconnecting and running on AC power.11-01-2023, 08:14 AM - Loading...
