In my experience with bad ccfl's, you get a brief back light that shuts off after a second or two.Comment

yeah, but the problem is I'm not getting a flash of light on the blacklight therefore ccfl is working. I'm not getting any current or voltage to the inverterboard board on the cni801 which I believe to be 1k volt? Something is shutdown the power to the inverter. Could be a mainboard but was told when u disconnect the main board the black light should come on. So I'm kinda loss what to do next? Thank for the great awesome response help me understand electronic better.Comment

Yes, the back light should come on and stay on with the main board disconnected.Comment
