Sanyo DP32746 DP32746-00 Inverter Board

The symptom is a brief flash of backlight then it goes out. TV is powering on with sound.

Fuse F100 was open and intinially replaced it and TV worked for awhile. It soon failed again..

Found F100 and F101 were open, and 2 shorted mosfets. Apparently a common issue on this board.

Can I just replace the 2 mosfets, or should I replace the 4 on this side of the board, or all 8?

It looks like each pair of the MOSFET drive 4 transformers, you may have bad transformer that may take out the new MOSFET. Do you have ringer tester to test the transformers? You may be safe just to replace the MOSFET as a pair.

I tested transformers all have close to 1.845k ohms resistance on secondaries and ring good. I ordered 10 of these mosfets from China for about $7, could not find them anywhere in the states.. 2 fuses ordered from Digikey

F100: F2587CT-ND
F101: F2920CT-ND
Mosfets are AO4614A

I'll post the results, unfortunately this board is going for a high price, not worth it..

Wondering how you made out with this??? Same problem on mine and curious if your fix worked or if I should get a new board...

I just changed two mosfets on the same board and tv .The backlight came right on for a whole 10 seconds. If I shut the power off by the button remote or unplug it will start backlight for another 10 seconds then black with sound. Any Ideas would be appreciated. Thank You

Going to get new glasses . One of the mosfets I changed didn't get any solder on number 2 pin. It would turn on back lights for 10-15 seconds and then off. Took inverter back out and went over my work thats when I seen the missing solder. I re soldered the mosfet and now the set works like new.
