I have a Pioneer PDP-4270HD, power light is on standby light is on, get no response when power button is pressed. Seem to have correct power from the ps. Any ideas as to where to look for the problem.

Hi! Did you try turning it on using its remote control? If it wont work, try to measure the voltage on the PSU if it present and normal... -

PSU voltage is normal, I do not have the remote. checked the button switches, all good

I have been looking at this again and both the standby and power on lights come on when the cord is pluged in. ///? strange?Comment

Does this model incorporate a 'trap" switch? It looks as if it does on the right support column. If you power on the set without depressing the switch, the TV goes into a shutdown mode.Comment

If you trigger the trap switch you need to reset it. There are instructions in the service manual.Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

If you would have read the pdf file I supplied in my previous post, you would have seen the symptoms of both the power and stby LED's is the trap switch protection feature has been triggered.

I have a 50" model (5045HD) that would not turn on. I unplugged one or both sustain boards and tried to turn it on. That must have reset something because all I had to do then was to clear the trap switch problem and have been watching the TV ever since.Comment

Hello.
I received a bios locked 7410 with 25Q256JVEQ ,i dump the bios, unlocked it and flash it back, since then the laptop has no life signs at all except amber led on for as long the power button is pressed, nothing else.
Fact #1 i was unaware that 25Q256JVEQ is 3.3v and i used a 5v CH341A to program it, not sure if the chip got damaged but since then i can read it and write it normally, doesn't seem dead.
Fact #2 i modded the CH341A to 3.3v, same results with programming though, nothing changed.
Fact #3 i tried hard reset with cmos/main battery disconnected and power... -
I have this Dell Latitude 5420 with ST: CMF62F3, board GDF40 LA-K491P REV 3.0 that does not power on, i already searched for some clues about this problem that happens on mine but no BIOS i downloaded and flashed did anything.
Only when the power brick is connected, when pressing the power button an amber light lights up at the front and slight decreases its brightness, the RAM and the CPU seem to heat up if the laptop is left connected but nothing else, other than USB devices getting powered.

The issue with Light of America was the blast boards had all most certain board failure while bulbs hardly ever fail
While the Lithonia lighting fixture has all most certain bulb failure
So I have modified the Lithonia lighting fixture to accept the Light of America light bulb and see how long this will last
