testing samsung boards

hi guys is there a way to test these before i sell them on ?
was removed from a 50 inch samsung but not chipped screen but one of the buffer board had a arcing chip

Did the display have any graphics visible on it at all?
The left, X-main probably OK.
The right, Y-main is suspect.

no tom i bought the unit cheap wanting the power supply and av board of a friend when i removed the back cover the unit turned on but no picture and one of the chips on the buffer board was arcing

Y-main and buffers are bad then. Only the X-main is likely good.

Hm, BTW, that lefthand board looks to have had a capacitor replaced on it (the HEC one, when all the rest are the usual samwha/samyoung). Probably someone did an attempt to repair it previously!

Samsung have previously used crappy HEC on there too. HEC = Worse than Samwha/Samyoung IMO.

Ah, I never knew that, I have always seen samwha caps.

WTF, my web browser is messing up, I meant the right-hand side board. When I open the image in a new window it seems to flip the image ... wtf!
