42inch plasma tv turn on/off automatically (generic brand? : Fluid)

Hello! And thanks you for clicking on my thread

My Tv, today, started to turn on/off on it's own for some odd reason.

    What I know so far:
I plug it, it turn on(automatically), wait a few secondes, turn off(automatically). 2 secondes later, it repeat. Turn on, off, on, off, .....
When it turn on, I can change the source if I am quick enough. It is currently set on TV(cable), was on HDMI when the issue started
I checked most caps. They look fine, but I don't know how to check them more deeply.
The tv brand is FLUID. Inside the TV, I noticed a SAMSUNG branding.
ALL the fuse that I found (3) are Okay

I am not a total newbies in electronic (I can solder, and I know how to use a multimeter. I have a decent digital one, if that can help)

Here is some pictures of the tv:

Could anyone help me to identify what could cause this issue, and what part to replace?
    Thanks you very much!

Edit: I did an edit to add the models/brand in the thread title, but it doesn'T show in the thread list. Sorry

I have removed every metal part to check the electronic that was hidden. I see no damaged caps.
The tv have sound when it reach a source (most time, it is not on long enough to reach a source)
    That problem is really odd..

The plasma panel and driver boards are made by Samsung, everything else is made by an OEM who "Fluid" bought from.

As for the fault, have you tried with the side button assembly disconnected?

Thanks, I did not know about such deal before.

At first, I tough.. Tom is crazy, the button doesn't seem to be stuck.
But then I gave it a go. After 5 minutes of removing the glue over the plug of the side button, I managed to disconnect the assembly.

I digged deep into my box to find the remote control (Never used it, as the tv was used as a computer monitor)

And then I turned it on.. and it's still on!

You are a genius, and you just saved me the price of a new tv. I Love you Tom, if there is anything I can do for you, let me know!

        Thanks thanks thanks!

Great to hear, sometimes the simplest things are at fault.

A picture of the VS/VA sticker would help for a project I am doing -- characterising plasma panel voltages over time. (Generally an increase in Vs, decrease in Va.)

Plasma panels are really hard to make, there are only three main manufacturers, Samsung, LG and Panasonic, so whenever you get a plasma TV it's guaranteed to use one of those panels, so you're rarely losing on reliability (of course Samsung and LG have lots of reliability issues on their own...)

I am extremly sorry, I just finished to screw it back together without seeing your message..

If you really need the photo, let me know. For you, I will re-open it ;-) You will just have to show me where the sticker is.

Never mind, it's not important enough -- enjoy the TV!

                Hey Tom66

I have some good news for you. A friend who had the exact same tv in the usa will be sending me the side button panel from his tv(A santa claus landed in his screen, ruining it, long story).

As soon as I receive it, I will have to open the tv again, so I will take your picture ;-)

Can you tell me aproximately what I am looking for?

A large sticker on the back of the panel, where you will find noted some voltages and their suggested values. Va, Vs and so on.

Stuck buttons are a fairly common issue, and are usually the first thing to check when the TV is switching on/off by itself, changing channels or volume, or displaying the menu at random. They don't have to be physically stuck either - it's enough for some small metallic debris or oxide to make its way inside, and the button will think it's pressed.

Each plasma panel is made differently. A variation of just +/-1% in the panel gas pressure corresponds to a variation of over +/-10% in the Vs voltage. So the sticker tells you exactly what the panel should be set at for optimum performance.

                      Hello,
I am having Samsung PS51E550 Plasma TV. While the TV was working, a crackling sound heard & video went off with audio still ON. After switching it off & ON, the red LED on TV blinks six times & then off.
Opened TV cover & observed foll
                      a) Green LED on the small PCB blinks at @5-6sec ON & off for 3-4 secs. Red LED on logic board ON
b)Vs & Va on power supply board raises momentarily to 209v & 58v resp & then drops.
                      c) Cold test on Y-main board shows all 3 pins of FGPF4536 IGBT short to Grnd.
How to confirm Y -Buffer board...

                      Panasonic plasma TX-P42ST50 - 6 blinks
                      by jm1234
                      Hi,
anyone able to provide the service manual for old plasma Panasonic TX-P42ST50E?
It turns off almost immediately (0~5 seconds after pressing the on/off button) and starts flashing the red diode 6 times.
I disconnected the left-hand side board (SC?, both the ribbon cable and the power cable to it) and also another ribbon going to bottom left board. Then the led signal is 8 flashes. According to service guide to another Panasonic plasma it would mean the left-hand side board is faulty. But I'm not sure it 100% applies to my model.
I checked that board for any obvious faults...

Picked up a bahemoth plasma TV not too long ago and just now getting around to looking at it.
No picture but you hear the TV static (white noise) playing loud and clear.
The back was already taken off (and no screws were provided) as the previous owner had already taken a look.
But it seems they didn't get too far and just left it.

When I first took a look I was amazed at how pristine the inside looked.
Its as if the TV had been in a time capsule.
Caps looked like they were just pulled off the self.
Copper coils had no sign of corrosion on...

Bought a bricked 15" generic LCD TV and need firmware
                      by void_ptr
Hi, folks. Thanks for all the work on this site. I am looking for help with a TV. I have a secondhand 15" LCD TV that won't turn on. The board is listed as CV3553M_B24_10 and the panel is a MG1561B01-1. I just want to use it as a portable gamer display and maybe a media player. The branding is "Emerson ETC-1500N" but I know it is a generic Chinese TV. Searching on the internet for compatible files turns up zilch and the ai bots aren't much help. Can someone please help me locate the fw for this TV?

This is my first posting, so forgive me everyone in advance if I made mistake(s) in my posting.

I know there have been much about this plama tv already and I have read through most what I could find. However; I still have not come across any service lit/schematics for this tv. I even looked for the 50PS11 which would be basically relevant other than display size. Anyone know to find the documentation would greatly be appreciated.

The set that I have has issues with lower third of screen being dimmer than the above portion. From my past experiences with tube, solid state,...
