When I pick up broken TVs, I have noticed that a lot of people saying that the repairman said something totally wrong. They say that intentionally or they don't know what they are talking about?
For example, repairman said that the TV needs a new mainboard and when I look at it home, I see picture with flashlight, so clearly it wasn't the mainboard.Comment

The funniest one I got is:-
"We took it into Curry's (a large electronics chain, probably where they bought it), and they told us it needed a new starter motor."
