Failed F9222L seems to be common failure, it is not even mounted on the heatsink.
I was told that I do not even know half the electronics as TOM, I am just a kid playing with the keyboard by the Greek Pro,.

Wow, I haven't seen that.
I don't consider myself a knowledgeable person, but I have build many things( two complete satellite systems from scratch, what I mean by that, I had to do the winding of the transformer, uF components, build the case from sheet metal, the PCB, motorized mechanism for the 2 meter dish/ cassette deck from scratch, many audio amplifiers from scratch, etc.) , I have repaired many things in my life, like cars, everything around the house, assembled CNC machines, repaired CNC machines, I'm a machinist by the way.
I have rebuild a '68 Volkswagen Beetle, I have put together it's engine here in the states and I have shipped it back where the car it was, then there I have put it in and so on.
I have build a shower at the work place where I used to work a while back, and after all this, I still don't consider myself knowledgeable. I'm still learning.
I had this F9222L failed in the past in another Samsung monitor, that's why I had another one.
The Digikey box has just arrived.

I have soldered in the remaining resister and booted up the TV.
It worked for like ten seconds, then turned off and some smoke came out.
I have noticed the main fuse blown and I have measured only the pin 19 and 23 at the F9222L and it was shorted.
Most likely, there it was another shorted component which I haven't found.

If it worked for 10 seconds, the snubber may have been faulty, or the heatsink for the F9222L was not properly installed (thermal paste?)

It doesn't have a heatsink. Which one is the snubber?

Counterfeit F9222? Perhaps not original replacement?

If you leave the RM802 out, will it still show short using short indicator box (new main fuse installed)?

I haven't had a chance to look at the schematics yet. If I remove the IC it shows 1.025 MOhm between pin #19 +23.. It could be that resistor's value, I haven't checked yet.
If I remove the resistor, it shows open between pin #4 + 19 and #19 + 23.
The truth to be told, this IC I have used it previously and I thought that it's a good one, but it may have been a bad one.
The question is, how can I be sure that I won't blow up some new parts again.
I don't see any short now with the RM802, F9222L and the 0.22 Ohm resistor removed. The 0.22 Ohm resistor it didn't blow up.
Now, I have to place an order, for a T5A/250V fuse.
The F9222L, comes from a far land and it will take a while to get here.

Budm, lol at your conversation with the greek pro, im a hobbyist electrician, guess it means Im 5 years from being a pro? unfortunately I don't know when I chose hobbyist so im not sure when I graduate to pro. Your day job work looks interesting, I had figured you were just retired, you must be valuable if they let you check badcaps.net so often , or discrete

I have been doing professional work since 1974, long before the Greek pro. Semi-retired.

The IC came in, installed it and it's still the same as in the beginning, turns on and off by itself.
At least, nothing blew up this time.
Tomorrow ,I will do some measurements.

Bud, what should I check for? Basically, we are at the beginning state. Missing same voltages. Some of them(12V and 24V) are very low 1.2V-1.6V.
