    can i use 1000uf 35w cap in place of 1500uf 35w

    Trying to fix a magnavox 42"plasma power supply. i need 3
    1500uf 35w and i have some 1000uf 35w will these work what if i went 2200
    Uf 35w. thanks

    No. Not good to change capacitance.
    You also cannot use capacitors from RadioShack, Frys, etc. They do not sell low esr capacitors.
    Capacitors can be ordered from badcaps.net or Digikey, if you need help ordering, just ask one of us here.

      Obviously, I concur with Tom66. The uf is the most important number - don't change it!
