    JVC HD-70ZR7J Lamp replacement

Hi all it looks like it time for a new lamp again, picture getting dark.I have had this set from new, just over six years and in that time i have changed the lamp twice,at just under £100 a go.I have looked on line and to buy one in the UK the cheapest i can find with the holder is £97 free post, but from the USA £23 plus £29 post, there is also one from Germany for £43 free post but looks like it will take a time to get here. What one should i go for,can any American forum users tell me if the ones on ebay over there are any good or to be avoided Thanks Flocko

I've never bought anything from ebay but i have had good luck with a lamp from Amazon. It actually has lasted longer than the original bulb that came with my Mitsubishi dlp.

The one i got from amazon has lasted over a year and its still bright. I think i paid around $45 for it. I think the warranty on it was 3 or 6 months.

Gaming Laptop Zephyrus S17 TFT not detected every time !
          by titomno2
          Hi guys,
I post my problem here because I think it could be a capacitor related issue (Asus support on this particular subject is non-existing).
So the computer is a Zephyrus-S17-GX735LXS-26T and the strange behavior is seen.
On cold start most of the time the internal screen is detected and a picture it works fine until shutdown, sleep or deep sleep.
Then the screen won't work for a long period of time.
If I wait 1 or 2 hours it work again most of the time.
When it doesn't work the batterie indicator blink 3 times white stop and the same schematic is repeated...

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
          by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

          Assuming...

Macbook Air M2 A2681 Kernel panics after screen replacement
          by reformatt
Just had a customer bring in a M2 MBA A2681 that had had a screen replacement in April at another repairer. Since then, she has been getting intermittent kernel panics. It's an aftermarket screen, and of course it fails in diagnostics as the calibration hasn't been done. The error in the panic log is "No device added after powering on the rails".

It seems the original repairer has swapped the board and the screen to other MAC's, and said that it isn't a screen issue. From what I understand, by doing a quick search on Google, this is in fact a screen issue. The panic relates...

Epson 5040UB Projector No Lamp Strike Stuck in Startup - Blinking Status/Lamp Lights
          by vestaviascott
Hoping someone here can put me on the right track. I'm trying to troubleshoot/flowchart the "internal projector error" on my newly acquired Facebook Marketplace bought Epson 5040UB projector (3LED, not DLP). Owner said it needed new lamp, actually error code blink pattern indicates "Internal Projector Error, call Epson support". Unit is out of warranty as of 8/19

          Here's what happens:

          1) Power on
          2) Blue power indicator lights and the lens cover motor opens the lens cover, light fan noise heard
          3) Blue status light flashes for appx 4 minutes...

Adding a clock battery to action camera to retain date&time when changing batteries Campark X25
          by flat-earther
I have a cheap action camera with an annoying trait, every time I change batteries the date & time gets reset and I have to set it again.

To solve this problem I want to add a small internal battery inside it which will keep supplying power to the camera for a while while I change batteries so the date & time is retained.

I have opened the camera and I think there is enough room to add something inside to accomplish this:

The camera is powered by a 3.7V nominal single cell lithium ion battery.
So I need to connect another battery in...
