Hi all it looks like it time for a new lamp again,picture getting dark.I have had this set from new, just over six years and in that time i have changed the lamp twice,at just under £100 a go.I have looked on line and to buy one in the UK the cheapest i can find with the holder is £97 free post,but from the USA £23 plus £29 post,there is also one from Germany for £43 free post but looks like it will take a time to get here.What one should i go for,can any American forum users tell me if the ones on ebay over there are any good or to be avoided Thanks Flocko

I've never bought anything from ebay but i have had good luck with a lamp from Amazon. It actually has lasted longer than the original bulb that came with my Mitsubishi dlp. -

Thanks for the reply,the projector lamp for my set over here in the UK is £97 rip off, the same lamp from the US is $34.54 (£23) plus post it is still half the price of the UK one, but are they any good or not,i dont want to buy one for it to only last six months.Comment

The one i got from amazon has lasted over a year and its still bright. I think i paid around $45 for it. I think the warranty on it was 3 or 6 months.Comment
