    bn4400261b or main board fault

    HI

I have a Samsung LE32b530 and it is not coming out of standby.

Downloaded the schema from another forum post(thanks Tom) and checked all the likely suspects ie fets fuses cold joints, all ok

If I power up the tv with the main disconnected I get

    on/off = 1.51v
    inv on/off = 2.09v

As soon as I plug the main board back in both these voltages go to zero

The 5.3 pin stays constant with main plugged in or out at 5.24v

Any ideas, could this be a main or a psu/inverter fault

I dont get a backlight flash either with main connected/disconnected

    Thanks for any help

With it plugged in, check the PS on pin on the power supply.
First with the power off, and then with it on.

0v with main board connected 1.51v disconnected

I should add that the standby light is solid and not doing anything when pressing side buttons, if I remember rightly when you plug samsungs in the standby light starts flashing, but I may be wrong

Sounds like main board fault, first place to check would be voltage regulators and core supplies.

Cheers Tom, just one worry, when you disconnect the main from the ps/inverter shouldnt the backlights do their two seconds and shut down??
          If so they dont :o(

Depends on the design, some Samsung are different.

                Hi

Just plugged the TV in and it is now responding to the side buttons and remote, so I did a master reset

                "press exit for 12 seconds"
                "press "left""
                "Press Enter"

Now I have done the reset that bloody annoying turn on sound has come back, and I can see OSD but not a blink from the backlights not even the flash and shut down.

                Any pointers please

Do you now get voltages on the on/off pins of the inverter?

                            Hi everyone,

I’m looking for help with a persistent issue on an LG TV model 55NANO77SRA, which uses the main board EBU66792103 (also used in LG UQ80 and NANO75/NANO80 series).

                            🧩 Problem Summary:
                            • The TV keeps scrolling through the menu or selecting items by itself.
                            • I removed the physical button board (the entire panel with power and volume buttons) and also disconnected the flat cable (CN202) from the main board.
                            • The remote control is not in use (batteries removed), and the TV still shows the same behavior.
                            • I

Issue: No Power, Then Rebooting After Main Board Change

Short answer: replace main board and power board
Technical answer: replace main board and Q306 & Q307 on power board.

                            Long answer:

TV wouldn't turn on. Power switch was fine which means the main board isn't processing the power on signal. Replaced main board. TV turns on now but randomly reboots. Bad main board? EEPROM? Tried to pull main board and got a shock touching the corner of the board. That's weird. C334 (450V 10uf) capacitor is still holding a high charge....

Is it possible to upgrade from a Vestel 17MB97 main board to a 17MB110 Main board?
                            by cheeky2
I suppose the real question is whether the existing pinouts from ether a 17IPS71 psu are cross compatible with a 17IPS12 psu? If they are then the exchange of the main boards should have no issues providing the screen is compatible with both main boards. Obviously you can change the screen configurations easily enough (providing you have the correct files) for the main board. Why may you ask would I do this? Well a lot of the smart features are no longer working on a Hitachi 48HBT62U main board I wish to give it a new lease of life!
Obviously the same LVDS connector for the screen connection...

This thread is about trying to get an Universal Main Board to work with a Sharp TCON and panel.

I have a Sharp LC-46D85UN TV that has had a main board issue. Since this model is from 2009, I am not able to find an exact replacement of the main board. Instead, I decided to see if I can future proof this tv by getting a Universal Main Board (T53U21.2) from China to work with the Sharp TCON (CPWBX4291TPZA) and panel. The universal main board supports a 8 bit dual channel LVDS interface whereas the TCON requires a 10 bit dual channel LVDS input. I have modded the LVDS connector to match...
