It stays on 1 unless i can manage to bring the very tip of one probe to the very tip of the other probe,and then it will flash random numbers between 80-180Comment

Ok so I brought the TV to a TV repair shop and they are saying that there is 10 bad resistors on the PSU and that they cant solder on new resistors,they have to replace the whole PSU , for $170.....does this sound like something that would happen with the signs I listed?Is it that hard to solder on new resistors?

Sounds like utter nonsense.
It's not hard at all to replace resistors...

Well needless to say after a bunch of B.S. the repair shop came up with,They said they made a mistake and there was only 2 defaulted resistors( The exact 2 resistors tom mentioned at the beginning of this thread before I even took the TV into repair, Good call tom!) ... I decided I didnt want to do business with them so I told them dont repair it,and they only took $70 instead of $170...
Well I know the parts I need,and that I need to remove the current resistors and solder new ones on.Can anyone give me any guidance on the removing/and soldering of the new parts.First time doing this...if I need to get behind that psu how do i disconnect the cables that prevent you from pulling the panel back very far?Whats the easiest way to remove the current resistors?. here is the pic of the panel and the 2 resistors in question (as posted previously in thread)

I would not give that TV shop any further business if they lie to customers like that, and seriously, it takes less than 5 minutes to replace those...

Soldering iron & fresh solder applied to each end for a few seconds, wiggle the original out slowly, swapping from side to side with the iron (no more fresh solder once the stuff starts to melt well.)Please do not PM me with questions! Hi,
I have lg 50pg25. It has similar problem. Power on for about a couple of seconds to a couple of minutes then shut off. Could this be same problem?
It has three white resistors on the top right corner.

Hmmm..you see those sets of insulated wires going into the psu ?How would you discconnect those so you can take the psu off the TV??
When I unscrew all the bolts holding the psu down,the wires are the only thing preventing me from pullling it all the way off.Comment

I have come here with a rather specific question. I was given a Dell Latitude 7420 laptop with a busted screen, and wanted to see if I could refurbish it into my daily driver. I wanted to experiment and see if a 2-in-1 display would work as the chassis of the laptop and 2-in-1 7420 looked identical. I threw in the display and my hypothesis was correct, however, I was greeted with a locked BIOS and since I didn't know the password, I figured I'd try to unlock it somehow. Serial Number and everything is wrong, even the Model is wrong (written as 850 G1)

my name is Banh and I regretfully fried something on the motherboard of my Razer laptop rz09-02886 when I tried to reflash the BIOS chip.
tl;dr: I'm looking for someone with the same laptop.
At first, it was only bricked because of a bluescreen during the bios update (windows), but after connecting the clip of a ch341a usb programmer to a (this is my big mistake i suppose) powered motherboard, it released a little bit of the smoke next to the clip. Now it won't even turn on the keyboard or fans.

I have an UT210E clamp meter that went wrong doing amps measurements in continuity DC, it shows an offset of around 4/5A when first set, (lever at DC 10A) at 2A DC shows fixed 0L always......,,,,,, and also does not allow me to (zero button) , and as i said it is even worse in the 2A !! setting which do nothing and shows "0L"... when you can measure DV in 20A after achiving a ZERO with many RESET ZERO times , you can measure with a lot of offset..... eg 1A current is measured at around 650 mamps, . Similarly, a 4A current is shown at around 3A. |O

Hi,
I have ordered a new main from Samsung. Tv works fine but colours are wrong. I have updated the Panel type as per panel sticker but made no difference. I have another spare good main board and copied the SPI data to the new board but still same problem.
I have attached pics to what difference I have found a difference n the Tcon value as per (2). However haven't found from where I can modify this value. Note I have entered SM with normal remote. Currently I do not have Factory remote.
Do we have a Service Manual for this please?
