Well--Thats what I would have thought...

The original board, 6871qyh045c.

According to various websites the replacement, a 6871qyh036D is compatible. It looks identical component wise...

Maybe it isnt....?

If the correct waves are going to the panel, it's either the panel or the buffers bad.

The controller board has 5 leds. Only two are lit, 3 and 5.

The service-manual makes reference--to check them, but doesnt say whether all or whatever should be lit, or what to do check etc if not!

Typical plasma manual!

All lit is bad, anything else is OK, I think it is temperature scale.
