    Samsung CK-21H1TR

    Hey guys,
I'm having a problem with my CRT TV it has color lines on top of it's screen.
The problem is similar like this youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FwcILZ2MoI

I replaced 2 caps that i think were bad:

    100uf 25V
    2200uf 25V

They were next to the vertical source, but the lines are still there...

So can you help me solving this ?

    Here's some more info:

    Chassis: S15A
    ICs: TDA8842 S1, TDA8356, SAA5531PS/M4/0298

I think the vertical source is TDA8356

Thanks a lot, waiting your reply

    Here's a photo of the chassis: http://store.picbg.net/pubpic/4E/8E/...8713434e8e.JPG

Do you know if the lines are teletext lines or flyback lines--they are quite different.

    Is the field folded over?

Are the supplies to the field O/P stage correct?

What effect does V-lin, Top-lin and height adjustments have?

      Re: Samsung CK-21H1TR

The lines are flyback, and the field is not folded over.
I can't tell you the other info(i know it's dumb) because i'm not a specialist and the only thing i have is multimeter and soldering iron... I'm trying to DIY repair my TV.
Thanks again for the fast reply.

Look around the field output stages and there'll be small presets.

They should be labelled what they do.

Colorful LCD Vertical Lines on Samsung ue55es8090
            by Falki
Hello there, ive recently found an older 55inch Samsung SmartTV.
Sadly it has vertical lines at the left and one line in the middle-right.

I have already tested out the connections and have looked at the soldered ribbons of the LCD panel to see if some contacts got loose by pushing them a bit but with no success.
I have factory resetted the TV as well but also with no luck.

I am afraid that it is indeed a LCD Panel issue but there are NO scratches or any impact-marks..

A similar issue has been posted as well but also with no actual response ...

            Screen Display Vertical Multicolor Lines
            by Stanley1843
Hello, I have a screen in where sometimes when I open it pop-up vertical multicolor lines (I would say the most of them are green). If I tun off and turn on the screen the lines dissapear or if I leave open the screen after approximately five minutes the lines gone. I measured the below voltages on the main PCB and on the T-CON board and the voltages are the same when it doesn’t display the vertical lines and when it displays the vertical lines. Also, I cleaned all the connectors very good with IPA. I moved back and forth the connectors and the COF tabs but the vertical lines didn't displayed...

            Samsung UN46C8000XFXZA vertical bars/horizontal lines
            by x_orange90_x
I posted about this previously but didn't get any response, and I have some troubleshooted a bit so I have more info.

The screen is full of horizontal "gaps" or lines that distort the picture badly, and after about 10 seconds of powering it on the screen starts to fill with red vertical bars that take on the horizontal pattern. After the screen filled with the red bars, they instantly vanished and then slowly started to reappear. I initially thought it was tab bonding failure, but after getting down to them and pressing each one I find zero change in the picture. I went...

Thin stable coloured vertical lines on Samsung UN65NU6900FXZC come and go
            by polaro
            Greetings,

I've bought a used Samsung UN65NU6900FXZC LED TV. It worked fine for some time and then developed, at first, a single very thin (1 pixel) vertical stable blue line, from top to bottom, close to the left edge of the screen. Now it's 3 lines on the left. When I connect HDMI sources the number of the thin lines grow. After disconnecting and cold discharging I am back to 2 lines. The lines disappear at a rate of 15-20 minutes per line. So it does not look like a damaged LED panel. Any advice? Thanks...
