    flashing screen with distored video artifact .

    thank you for the help with my last tv. it was indeed the tab bonds.
    i used some weather strip foam and duct tape to support that joint. lol.
    seems like its working fine now.

      buzzing and ticking from the upper left (Y ?) board.
      likely the culprit i guess.
      will there be more damage?

        Y sus and buffers bad. Possibly Z sus too.
        Not usually work fixing these unless the TV was free or very cheap.

          well it was 25 bucks so..
          i might be willing to try some board repair if someone wanted to walk me thru it.
          i have soldering tools meter etc. no real education tho.

              I would like to know if any one knows what the fet is at location Q403 left side next to the top 2 transformers it was removed from this power supply most pic i see are not clear enough to see the markings of it. also the sm has no schematic. any help is much appreciated!!
