Which ones do you have? Brand and series? Seriously, most capacitors are NOT suitable.

they where capcon ones same as removed , tv does the same , and i checked the 24v to the invertor and they do get a feed briefly then the tv clicks back off and the voltage drops off.

Capxon are really poor capacitors.... I've replaced more of them than any other...

They are very good, but you can get a lot of fakes if you buy from shady shops, let us know the series (e.g. ZLH, YXF, MCZ) before replacing them as we need to know if they are low esr (not all Rubycon caps are.)

would increasing the microfarad on the replacements cause a issue i.e going from 470 to 1500 same voltage tho ?

Yes, almost certainly. And, MCZ are not suitable for TV PSU.

We can check the output rails and main board.

ok i been testing and checking components , i found a 4.7Mohm resister open circult which i replaced has resolved the buzzing issues from power supply, still remains in standby, i just been testing Mosfets on invertor and found n channel bottom 4 are at fault model fdd8447l 40v , iam right in saying they operate similar to diodes back to back and only allow current one way through ?

In circuit is usually OK, once a suspicious device is located, remove it from the circuit and test out of circuit.

                                            Hello all,

I'm stumped on this guy, so wanted to see if anyone has any further ideas:

                                            Intro:

This is an Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55-55M1 with unknown prior history (bought "as-is" on eBay). It charges the battery and powers on from both AC adapter and battery, so I think this rules out main power issues.

Upon attempt to boot, it will "reboot" (meaning powers down and then powers on again) only once, and then stays stuck in a status of lights on / no post / no monitor. Powering on with fn+esc maxes out the fans on first boot attempt,...

Powers on as normal shows an image then powers off after 10 seconds

I have to unplug it from the wall and replug to get it to turn back on but then shuts off

                                            No blown caps
I searched for this model but nothing comes up...

Philips 47PFL4606 Powers on, works normal then powers off after a minute

                                            Hi,
I am new to this forum and have searched for some answers with problems similar to mine.
Philips TV powers on as normal for about a minute or less then click and no power at all not even standby light. If i disconnect from mains and reconnect it will power on again but for a shorter time. Once i leave it disconnected from main for a longer time it will power on for a longer period the next time.

It sounds like a power supply issue?

I have the board out and want to run some tests. Not sure what i should be doing but i put a 1k resistor across SB and +5v...

I replaced the backlights all good. Two months later set was dead, had a shorted D9100, replaced all good again.
Now months later set powers up,backlights light ok,no picture. 12volts missing from fuse on tcon. 12VA on power
supply is 19 volts. Changed D9100 again, same, 12 volts measures 19. Am I looking at a power supply or mainboard
issue. Set will power up with remote but not power off....

hello friends, I have a DELL LATITUDE 5420---MODEL P137G, ST 20TFKN3 LA-K491P REV:2.0 (A01) and its quite a challenge. It powers on with the battery disconnected, lasts on for about 15 secs, and then shuts off. It does the same with battery only (no adapter). With battery and adapter it sometimes starts after hitting the button several times. It displays nothing in every case. Since only the Boardview is available, I guided myself with schematics similar to this laptop (I'll add them down). Some measurements:

1- After receiving power SIO_SLP_S0# goes high and never changes.
