You need to wire them from STBY 5V to the power on signals: PANEL MAIN ON, TV SUB ON. And one from POWER OFF to 0V (GND). The rails should switch on.

Oh, and the connector should be disconnected from the A board before doing this.

OK , just to double check i have this 100% correct before i attack it the with 200 ohm resistors.

            on P7
stnby 5v(pin 8) to panel main on (pin 7)

stnby 5v(pin8) to TV sub on (pin5)

all off (pin11) to GND 0v .. where is the best place to pick up 0v GND ?

GND would have to go to a screw or the chassis -- for now leave it off and see if it works without.

0volts on all pins on P6

P7 has changed and is now as below

                  pin1 (standby 5v) = 0v
                  pin3 (s0) = 0v
                  pin4 (s1) = 0v
                  pin7 (panel main on) = +5v
                  pin5 (tv sub on) = +5v
                  pin11 (all off) = 0v
                  pin8 (stb-5v 0n) = +5v
                  pin9 (sos p4) = 0v
                  pin12 (main-sw) = +5v
                  pin14 (main sw) = 0v

Should pin 14(main switch 1) and pin 12 (main switch2) not be conected as well ?

do i need to put the 200 ohm resistor between pin 14(main switch 1) and pin 12 (main switch2) as well ?

I need a little help confirming i have put 5v to the right places Tom .. HAVE I GOT THIS CORRECT ?

As you can see i have wires
pin1 (stby5v) to pin7 (panelmain on) with 200 ohm resistor
pin1 (stby5v) to pin5 (TV sub on) with 200 ohm resisitor
pin11(all_off) to GND with a 200 ohm resistor
pin12 and pin14 (main switch 1 and 2) short out

I still hear the relay click over then click back and the P board looks to behave the same way as without the resistors in place and the only change in voltages are the now 5V on pin5 and pin7 we have conected to 5V stnby

                            That looks correct.
You should get sound +15.8V, do you?

NO I dont, Here is what i get on P6 with the above in place..

                              pin1 (sound +15v) = 0v
                              pin2 (sound +15v) = 0v
                              pin3 (p+15v) = 0v
                              pin7 (F+15v) = +15.8v
                              pin9 (F+15v) = +15.8v

This is the same as before the resisitors where put in place.

OK. P board is definitely looking bad. Final check. Unplug PSU, wait 30 seconds, plug it in. Do you get some clicks from the relay?

Any one know what might need changed on the a board to repair it or where to get the data from a 42" a board to change it on my 37" a board.
Or even how to change the resolution to enable full picture.

As the Elitebooks (820, 840 all gens) only show flashing Power LED and flashing CapsLock (continuously) + a very soft "ticking" noise near the DC Jack,
I wonder if re-flashing the BIOS might be of any use here.

As far as I understood, steady flashing either means insufficient power or a CPU/GPU/Motherboard issue. I use the original 65watt power supply.

There are so many threads out there, but most of the solutions involve flashing codes, which I dont have or claim that you MUST use the original power supply, do a hard reset, reseat the RAM, clean the RAM,...

Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing hereπŸ€”?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting πŸ˜‚.

                                            Hello Community!

                                            CASE DETAILS

Promblem Signs: Backlight on 1 sec off 7sec > repeat && Red standby light: 1blink, off 3 sec, 2 blinks, off 5 secs, 2 blinks, off 3 sec, restart cycle

13V present on powerboard output. Backlight continues flashing after removing cables to pannel one at a time and even with both disconnected. NOTE: backlight STOPs flashing and remains on when connector between powerboard and mainboard (note Tcon built in) is disconnected.

Tried inserting firmware on USB and left it in for a few hours, but no change

Recently I've gotten into EC flashing due to my broken laptop(s) and started frantically searching methods for flashing the IT5571E-128 chip on the cheap(due to me beaing a student and not having a job) and noticed that ITE newer chips can be flashed via ISP (In-System Programming) either via SMBus or the KBC (EPP - Enhanced Parallel Port) interface. While these can be achieved with programmers like SVOD4/3 or the RT809H/F those options are WAYYY out of my budget so I was horrified. But recently I stumbled uppon some programmers on aliexpress that claim they can program a variety of ITE chips...

Problem with PANASONIC CF53 laptop after changing BIOS settings

Hello. I am asking you for a hint on how to solve the problem with my touchbook Panasonic CF53-2 standart model. After setting up the BIOS, the laptop displays the wrong image until Windows loads. (More precisely, it displays, but distorted, instead of the Panasonic image immediately after turning it on, it displays what is in photo #1 in the attached file) Then the image appears when Windows starts loading and then there are no problems with the screen until the reboot. If you enter the BIOS, just a black screen. If you connect an external screen, the image on it is the same as on the built-in...
