Can you located the 9V, 5V and 3.3V points on PSU, and check them with and without A board connected?

      Re: panasonic TX-P42X20B flashing red

Hi new here so hello all.
I have one of these tv's that was blinking 10 times. I managed to get an A board from a 37" and put that in. Managed to get the picture and sound working again, only problem now is the top band of the picture is copied to the bottom.
Data in the tv says it is 37" model I have tried to change it to a 42" in the service settings but can not keep it to stay changed.
Looking to see if I can get the data from a 42" to load onto my A board. Read the service manual and this is what is needed when changing to a new A board.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

        The 37" is 1024x720
        The 42" is 1024x768

There is your problem, it may not be possible to change it though.

Any chance the 42X2 is close enough?
            http://www.tgohome.com/ServiceManual...&Search=Submit

Voltages on page 51. Look for for "To P-Board (P6)".

            Pin 1: 15V
            Pin 2: 15V
            Pin 3: 15V
            Pin 4: 0V
            Pin 5: 0V
            Pin 6: 0V
            Pin 7: 15V
            Pin 8: 15V
            Pin 9: 15V
            Pin 10: 0V
            Pin 11: 0V

That's obviously only the 15V rail... there is a 9V and 3.3V rail on there... I am not certain if it is close enough and will look up exact SM if I can.

this is a picture of what voltages i got from each one , I noticed that P6 would slowly drain the 15v after a 15 seconds or so from each pin.

there is nothing at all on P35 which i assume is the 9v rail , If i remove all connectors from the P board except AC in , i dont hear the relay click over and i get 0v on all points tested above.

Unfortunately, I cannot find a service manual for this set, but I will ask a friend if he can get it. This may take time.

If its a power supply fault, it looks like i can source 1 for around 30 euros , this might be the chassis number ... mc106h30u13 .

As the Elitebooks (820, 840 all gens) only show flashing Power LED and flashing CapsLock (continuously) + a very soft "ticking" noise near the DC Jack,
I wonder if re-flashing the BIOS might be of any use here.

As far as I understood, steady flashing either means insufficient power or a CPU/GPU/Motherboard issue. I use the original 65watt power supply.

There are so many threads out there, but most of the solutions involve flashing codes, which I dont have or claim that you MUST use the original power supply, do a hard reset, reseat the RAM, clean the RAM,...

Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing here🤔?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting 😂.

                                            Hello Community!

                                            CASE DETAILS

Promblem Signs: Backlight on 1 sec off 7sec > repeat && Red standby light: 1blink, off 3 sec, 2 blinks, off 5 secs, 2 blinks, off 3 sec, restart cycle

13V present on powerboard output. Backlight continues flashing after removing cables to pannel one at a time and even with both disconnected. NOTE: backlight STOPs flashing and remains on when connector between powerboard and mainboard (note Tcon built in) is disconnected.

Tried inserting firmware on USB and left it in for a few hours, but no change

Recently I've gotten into EC flashing due to my broken laptop(s) and started frantically searching methods for flashing the IT5571E-128 chip on the cheap(due to me beaing a student and not having a job) and noticed that ITE newer chips can be flashed via ISP (In-System Programming) either via SMBus or the KBC (EPP - Enhanced Parallel Port) interface. While these can be achieved with programmers like SVOD4/3 or the RT809H/F those options are WAYYY out of my budget so I was horrified. But recently I stumbled uppon some programmers on aliexpress that claim they can program a variety of ITE chips...

Hello. I am asking you for a hint on how to solve the problem with my touchbook Panasonic CF53-2 standart model. After setting up the BIOS, the laptop displays the wrong image until Windows loads. (More precisely, it displays, but distorted, instead of the Panasonic image immediately after turning it on, it displays what is in photo #1 in the attached file) Then the image appears when Windows starts loading and then there are no problems with the screen until the reboot. If you enter the BIOS, just a black screen. If you connect an external screen, the image on it is the same as on the built-in...
