that diode should NOT appear open...
That would cause loss of 24V audio supply. I can't be certain if that would just cause lost audio or other problems.

That was not necessary. Lots of things can cause that. When plugged in though, TV should do a self test. So hold meter across leads, plug TV in, see reading.Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Hold meter across leads of one of those caps, plug TV in, see if reading spikes.

Hello,
I've been given an Alba CBB16 radio to look at. The issue was no sound from either speakers when switching to the radio. They'd just be some buzzing/static. I did some troubleshooting and found that if I mess with the switch in certain ways, the sound cuts in and out on the right channel speaker. It'll go from quiet with some static/buzzing to really loud and clear depending on how the switch is moved. This told me that the radio at least has an issue with this switch.
The switch appears to be broken on the inside causing a poor connection. I tried cleaning it...07-29-2024, 07:05 PM -
Hi all.
Im trying to access the sd card in my ALBA 10tablet directly from my pc, but when I connect using using usb its only showing the internal storage.
I have a samsung tablet and it shows both internal and external storage when connected but no dice with the Alba.Is there some setting i'm overlooking.?
My grandson has an amazon tablet and again the sdcard is not there when plugged in to pc.

Hi this early vestel with inverter and ccfl backlight came in with no backlight and it was the usual suspects on the inverter board ,4 fets ao4616 ,i ordered a kit and repaired inverter .
i now have this smear approx 8 inch from bottom on left hand side
its about half inch wide it stops approx 3/4 across .it doesnt change with pic content
i have examined panel closely for any damage ,
none of the tabs are running hot .
would value your opinions if it is the panel.
ive had many plasma and lcd tvs with horizontal lines,
but they usually go right... -
