Vizio VW46LFHDTV10A black screen

Hello, I was trying to fix a bad tab bond when the screen went black. The backlight is on but it only shows black.

When I tap the screen, I get white flashes. I have tested another tcon and that didn't change anything.

I appreciate any help. Thanks!

If you apply too much pressure you can cause this.

You must be extremely careful not to damage the tab bonds. If you do -- game over -- the screen is dud & it's not viable to replace it.

Reverse your repair & hope the original symptoms come back... if not, then it's probably dead, Jim...

Try heating the tab bonds with a hair dryer, this may give you some results.
