Re: JVC Model PD-42X776
The plastic top is bulging but the capacitor is most likely fine.
315V, 440uF.Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: JVC Model PD-42X776
If you press down on the top, does it depress?
If it does, the capacitor is fine.
Anyway, you haven't mentioned the symptoms of the fault. Bad caps there might cause a dim picture, excessive buzzing noise, or sparkling pixels. But I'll note that we've never seen the caps on sustain boards fail, apart from low voltage ones. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: JVC Model PD-42X776
Tom no top wont press down and brown crud oozing from around one of the legs.Symptom is sparkling pixels. Have tried everywhere for cap but no luck.No one seems to have a 440uf cap at 315 or any higher. Any suggestion on locating would be appreciatedComment

470uF 315~350V would be an acceptable substitute. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: JVC Model PD-42X776
Unfortunately not. However, it's a simple Samsung plasma panel, so it should be reasonably easy to set up. If you need help I can provide some. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

by edugimenoHi!!
Yesterday I was installing a new Wifi thermostat for my domestic gas water heater model Vaillant 242/2-3, and accidentlly one wire from mains touched one wire from the thermostat output contacts. This shut off the heater so I finished installing the thermostat and then went out to check the heater
I found one fuse blown (T2 250V). Replaced it with another equivalent fuse and it blew right away. I measured L-N in mains input and I sometimes got 4K but sometimes, not sure why, I got 100 Ohm...

by sotodefonkHi, I have a Hitachi tv model L47V651, there is no image, but sound and backlights turn on, so I believe the issue is the tcon board.
I opened the tv to access the board and took the shared pictures of the T-Con board.
I saw a video from shopjimmy on how to detect the model number on tcon boards, but this doesn't have a sticker like how that video showed all boards.
I searched the P/N number and got results with the same marking name and P/N my board has but they list other specific tv models like Vizio and Philips brand but not Hitachi.

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?by Tynan DillI was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

Gidday from Downunder,
Chasing the Schematics and also the board view for the HP Laptop board, modelaccording to the board markings that is read sideways against the the side frame to the graphics card or the DDR4 slot it says the following for the Model,
“MODEL:OPAK”
Then assuming the card was still inserted into the slot, releasing the card and removing it will reveal the full markings printed on the board (not the card),
“DAOPAKMB6FO REV:F”
Below in smaller print is a small logo of I think a backwards R with the letter U with the left stroke of the...-

by justice171Hi everyone,
I'm currently troubleshooting an issue with my LG TV (Model No: OLED 55EG9A7V, Power Board No: LGP55B7-170P) and would appreciate your guidance.
When I press the power button, the standby LED flickers three times, and the relay clicks multiple times before stopping. During this time, I measured the voltages:- Over P201: I receive all the correct voltages.
- Over P202: I only receive 12V, but the 24V is missing.
The 24V is used to power the display board (Tcon) via the flex cable, but even when I disconnect the flex cable, the 24V is still not present....7 Photos - Loading...
