Westinghouse 42 " stuck in standby

Hi picked up a Westinghouse TX-42F3MUT.powers on with no start up screen led flashes blue for a instant and goes to red.

I read the post about the firmware flash i have done that and it came on and worked fine until it sits over night and goes back to standby.
Do you think it has another problem or the flash is just not taking?

Make sure it is not set up in SHOP MODE.
This resets settings to default after a predefined time, for use in retail shops where customers fiddle with the TV.

To leave shop mode do a factory reset then when it prompts you select "Home Use", then do the firmware flash.

This TV may not have shop mode but I encountered a similar issue with a Samsung LCD being set to shop mode.
