    Strong SRT4930 & 4930L Sattlite reciever

DOES ANY ONE KNOW WHAT THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE TWO MODEL?

    I know only the followings:
SRT 4930 is sold in AUstralia and is "supposed to be a Single Tuner" where you can record one one channel and watch only channel on the same frequency

The SRT4930L allows you to record 3 channels simultaneously while watching a 4th or a previously recorded program via one transponder.
    The remote condtro is identical.
When comparing Specifications the only different is the FLASH RAM on 4930L- NOR : 8Mbyte, NAND : 256Mbyte.

It also has one extra USB at the back.

    1. Is the hard ware of both unit the same?
    2. Can the additional USB be added by a tech savy person?
    3. Will upgrading the software from 4930L on to a 4930 works?
    4. How do you change the FLASH RAM of 4930 to that of 4930L- NOR : 8Mbyte, NAND : 256Mbyte?

    Cheers

Many multi-recording models actually have multiple tuner sections.

It would be very costly to include multiple tuners on a single tuner model, but they might do it.
