Can you make sure scope is set to DC on CH1? That waveform does not look right.

You should be seeing a square wave around 200Vp-p but the wave is barely 100Vp-p, and very distorted.
It is possible it is the control board, but I really doubt it.
Do you have good +15V to X-main?

I really suspect the board you got is bad and has the same fault as your old one. Boards from cracked screen TVs are rarely tested. For comparison, check the YOUT on the Y-main. The YOUT will have some additional ramps on it, but otherwise should look very similar.

Ah, this chassis is different to the one I have been using as reference. At OUTH, what do you see?
If you have a second probe, it may be useful if OUTH is not ground referenced, we will find out.

It looks a little better, can you try 2 microseconds on the X-main?
At least it is like a square wave. The scope is probably bandwidth limiting causing the ramps (instead of sudden square), I see that sometimes on my 100MHz scope.

So, it appears the XOUT is stuck at around 150V (possibly 197V -- Vsus), when it should be going from 0V to 200V. I think the X-main is definitely bad.

Where is the ground of the scope probe connected?

Metal frame is good for ground.

I hope you can get it working.

I have replaced this very same X-main board in a different Samsung plasma. It has a high failure rate. On mine it was dead short from Vs to GND, TV would not power up.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

I hope this is the right forum to post in despite not technically being a repair, but still a question of swapping boards.

I thought I'd explore the possibility to upgrade an existing working Samsung ue55nu7096u with the logic board (and power board if needed) of a newer model (ue55ru7105k) of the same size and appearance (and resolution). The reason being I'd like the extra inputs of that board including component in, an extra HDMI port and bluetooth. Its panel is broken so I have no use for the board otherwise.

The models launched in 2018 and 2019 respectively....

                                            Hi all!
I've recently run into an issue with my Samsung UN55H8000AF LED TV displaying no image. I've done quite a bit of research in terms of what could be wrong with it. Below are the steps I've taken prior to reaching out here for some assistance:

                                            1. I've tried replacing the T-Con board (BN95-01594A), twice and have still experienced the same issue with all the boards I've tested with.

                                            3. I've checked voltages...
