    Low ESR PSU Caps advice

What would be the best low ESR capacitors to use in an LCD TV PSU? What would I be looking for in the datasheet as in ESR, impedance, frequency? Or can someone recommend some tried and tested reliable ones that I can just install, without having to worry about all the technical stuff?

I myself use PANASONIC FM series from Digikey, you can also use FR series. Just match the value, voltage, dimension to the original. Use them for many, many, many years in lots of products (http://s807.photobucket.com/albums/yy352/budm/)

Rubycon ZL_, Nichicon HD, and Chemi-con KZE can also be good options if you can't find a panny in a particular size.
I love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!

No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards

Thanks for the advice fellas but these are going to be used for the 2 main caps on a SMPS,I should have mentioned that before, is there a particular ohm rating I should be looking for, like some of them are 1.3 ohms,1.8 ohms ect...I want these to last a fair while.

Try to get something with low impedance, as close as or below 1 ohm, but don't sacrifice lifetime rating (hours @ 105c) for lower ohms.

The impedance is not that important for capacitors running at high voltage, in the mains section.
