    Whats your thoughts on the Emerson Problem

    Might try to get this emerson because I have spare boards to this same model... Do you all think its a board or panel??

    Looks like a Tcon issue to me, but i'd wait for someone more experienced to chime in. As far as i've seen, a bad panel displays multicolored lines from top to bottom, with nothing to do with the picture shown, and this does have some sort of a picture.

      You may want to get the model number and see how much and how hard it will be to get the T-CON board.

        Budm do you think its the Tcon? Its not hard to get pretty sure I have one here from a previous project

          I'm not liking the fact that it starts midway thru the pic; if it were t-con it would probably affect the whole screen. It could be a tiny chip in the screen from an impact that could cause it as that would screw up the drive lines going to the pixels. If you go to pick it up, check there's not a tiny chip in on corner or another.
