I am Currently working on a Vizio HDTV that isn't giving me any sort of response. when plugged in. I have no Lights for standby or any form of sound or anything from the set. It seems to not be getting any power. I am assuming that It is the power supply, But I Need to be sure. All other connections and boards look normal. Does anyone have any insight on what This Could be. I Have provided a Picture of the Supply board to the Vizio.

Re: Vizio L32 HDTV 10a No power, no standby LEd Nothing.
1) Do you get 5V standby on the power board?
2) If yes, then check your voltage regulators on the main board as per my sig file below.--- begin sig file ---
If you are new to this forum, we can help a lot more if you please post clear focused pictures (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) of your boards using the manage attachments button so they are hosted here. Information and picture clarity compositions should look like this post.
We respectfully ask that you make some time and effort to read some of the guides available for basic troubleshooting. After you have read through them, then ask clarification questions or report your findings.
Please do not post inline and offsite as they slow down the loading of pages.

Re: Vizio L32 HDTV 10a No power, no standby LEd Nothing.
Have you tested the 5V standby? If you post a closer shot of the connectors going from the power supply to the main board (which has HDMI etc on it) we can highlight the places to test. If there is a legend such as 5VSB next to a pin, that probably is the 5V standby voltage. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Check these pins on the connector: or post the closed up pictures of your connectors.
My board may not be the same as yours.

Can you get a pic of the others? You could also just list them on the forum and we can tell you which to test. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: Vizio L32 HDTV 10a No power, no standby LEd Nothing.
OK, put the black meter probe of the DC Volt meter to the metal chassis, the Red probe on the terminal that is labeled with '5V' and see if you do have that standby 5V coming out.
Please also take CLEAR AND FOCUSED pictures of the connectors front view so we can read all the lables on the connectors.Never stop learning

Re: Vizio L32 HDTV 10a No power, no standby LEd Nothing.
@blazer, so you also do not have 5V STANDBY either? Fuse is good? if so, then with just the power supply by itself, check and see if you do have about 160~170VDC RIGHT AT THE TWO LEGS OF THE MAIN FILTER cap (the big cap with 450VDC rating).Never stop learning
