Waaayda minute. I assumed that you had no backlight, in other words you had no light from the screen? I just saw a post saying you had a white screen. Maybe I'm completely mixed up, are you getting light from the screen and is it continuous? I may have mixed up the threads a little. Oh dear. I am not having a good day today, apart from finding the 50" Panasonic. But, I completely mis-diagnosed the fault. Your fault is likely with the green signal board, not either of the PSUs. I'm sorry those pictures are really too blurry for me to highlight much. Is there any way to make them a little better? Perhaps using sunlight would work. I'm trying to see tiny things like SMD fuses and marked test points.
The white or black screen, with lit backlights, is a common issue with all TVs. Generally that board would attach to a separate t-con board and the t-con board commonly fails. Looks like they have integrated the two on this chassis making it a little harder to diagnose but it's either there, or in the power supply feeding that... the inverter is fine, I was totally heading down the wrong direction, I'm still suspicious of your meter though.Please do not PM me with questions! I heard somethings about using a heat gun or adding heat to certain system boards because solder or sometimes just getting joints to resit, I've done this trick on game systems that overheat...Am I way off

It could be a good test. We have seen several TVs here with similar issues to the Xbox 360 and PS3 regarding main chip BGA solder joints, mostly Samsung TVs though. Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!
My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.
This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen... -
Another TV topic!!
I got this sharp TV that when I first plugged it in it showed the sharp logo and then went to the input screen. This was about 30 seconds and then it showed white screen. Now I can't see anything but white screen. This has a separate TCON and Main.
The TCON is getting 12V and several parts are as well but the VGH line is only .5Volts which I thought is totally incorrect.
Am I on the correct assumption that the TCON is bad somehow if I'm only getting that voltage or is there something else I should check?... -

I have a Dell G15 ryzen edition (ryzen 5) that turns on but won't post, black screen, keyboard lights on, caps lock led on, fans turns and the battery indicating light is showing 2amber and 1 white according to dell website it's a cpu failure, but i tried few basic things before i open it up i tested the screen by pressing the d button before powering it up but it didn't show anything i tried the ctrl+esc for bios recovery but still black screen i tried refreshing the screen, i plugged it on an external monitor but same thing. Next step i unplugged the battery and kept pressing the... -
I have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.

so i took out one of my spare gigabyte ep35-ds3r mobos from storage for use to do some cpu, ram and video card testing of stuff i bought from ebay and got for free from momaka. he bought 50 e8400 cpus for cheap from ebay some years ago and i decided to help him relieve him of some of his supply since he had waaaay too many!!
what did we say about hoarding too much stuff and depriving others of them?! *cough* socialism *cough* lol! 
i had to blow some dust off the board and heatsinks with the datavac as i didnt clean it up before putting it in storage. after finishing...
