Dynex TV turns back on after turning off?

I have a Dynex 24-L230A12. When I turn it off, it comes back on immediately after shutting off. To make it shut off, I have to hold the power button for a few seconds on the TV. Nothing else is wrong with it.

UPDATE: I figured it out, it was the remote that was taking too long to shut it off.
