Great! It has to be something in the circuits around those two transistors for the protection section that is not working right, we are in the right area. I wish I have the set in front of me to do deep analyzing.
For now just use as it is with the kick start.

New to badcaps. Was trying to find a schematic to be able to start work on the same model for a different situation. It is a coworkers TV and he asked me to give it a shot. With the schematic in this thread was able to get to work. Was quickly able to get to the problem. The switching regulator for T402 is inop. The surge absorber took a fatal hit also and am changing the AC input varistors as well. The set was off when a T-Storm with a few power surges came thru and the set did not work afterward. Have found replacement surge absorber and varistors at Digikey. Unable to find MIP2F4 in the Conus. Have found them on Ebay oveseas. Any insight to MIP2F4 being available anywhere in the US?

      Any insight appreciated.

        Hi,

I also have a problem with this board CEF273A. Plugged in, green led appears, relay make 1 click and that's it. No sreen no lights.

I made some measures like in the pdf troubleshoot but are ok (IC401 IC402). I also measured D436 and D437 and makes 24v.

        What else can i test?

        Thanks...
