Please I have several of the above Sharp LCD TV model: LC-32D59U. There is no standby light and the Tv will not turn on. I usually fix this by replace the main PCB. The Main PCB recieve 3.4V and 5.25v, but no 12V which comes on when a working board powers on.
Any help will be appreciated.

Sharp are tricky TVs to debug.

You have posted no pictures so there is not much we can point out.

We are trying to troubleshoot the problem without having the set or the boards in front of us to look at, so good clear and focused pictures of the TV and boards of your TV will be the only thing we can see and use to guide you.

Pictures for the lc-32d49u. The problem is with the main pcb

Pictures are not really clear enough for trouble shooting - we need to be able to read the board numbers. Budm will also want one of the backs so he can see the circuits. Are you saying the Power supply works and has been tested in another set and it is just the Main board that is at fault?

Yes the power supply works. All the stand voltage on the main board test ok, but the standby light is not coming on. About the pictures I will see what I can do.

Did you look at the troubleshooting guide yet?

Yes I did. without a standby light I cant classify the failure as no picture.

I know this is an old thread but I have exactly the same issue. matt2oo5, I shot you a PM as well and if you recall what you did to fix these main boards I'd be grateful to hear from you.
