Gah! No labels on the hybrid pins. It will be guesswork to find out which is which.

    I notice in this image

    http://*************/photo/my-images/33/dsc0082pu.jpg/

There is a fuse marked 1A 125V - this is probably different to the main fuse - can you check it and see if it is okay?

The most likely fault is Y-sustain. A Z-sustain fault would cause a dim or blurry picture.

On both boards? Hmm, okay, this is getting weird. I'm kinda stuck right now. Where is the control board on your set? (The control board is the board which connects to the Y sustain and Z sustain, among others.) I think it is probably buried under the main board but are there any LEDs lit on it that you can see? I'm not familiar with this Samsung chassis so I can't confirm if they have LEDs on the control board but most newer Samsung plasmas do.

2 Leds, 1 of them blinking

Yes, fuses are good on both boards

            Re: Myrica p42-2H green shadows

I'm drawing a blank now. I can't believe it just died on you! I can only suggest that in some way the faulty power supply has damaged the board in some way but in no obvious way at all - normally there would be a blown fuse or a short somewhere. I wish I could help more.

              Re: Myrica p42-2H green shadows

              Thanks for the help

I also believe that a faulty power supply killed the Y-sustain
when regulating the power. It could not handle that

It was just its time to die

Have checked prices on these boards
and the TV is not worth it

              But don“t worry Tom,
There will always be new projects

                Hey Tom66.

I do not think it is all dead.
Turned it on and let it varm up 20 min
and then I began to see green dots.

                Know also red dots know.

Dont you think it is the power supply ?

Sounds a lot like the control board isn't getting a video signal, check main to control board cable is seated. Check Va supply to X buffers.

                    I will do that.

                    Va is fine, cables reseated.
                    Did not change anything
