Insignia LCD32-09 thin colored verticle lines

    Hello all!

I have an Insignia LCD32-09 of unknown history (was given to me because I've successfully tinkered with a few non-functional thin screens). The screen seems to power up okay shows the OSD pretty clearly (like the "No Signal" message in the rectangle in the right center portion of the screen) but it has an odd pattern of very thin vertical lines.

(Sorry for the lousy picture; the entire screen looks like the lines in the center but my cheap camera absorbed too much light on the sides of the image.)

Does anyone have clues? I'm guessing a mainboard issue, but not sure if this is repairable or if it's a throwaway.

Cracked panel Usually not worth fixing unless you can get an identical parts unit with a good screen.

Sorry, not sure how I messed up the the picture attachment.

The question seems to have been answered but here's another shot at the picture...

              Well... that stinks.

But, I'm happy to hear the opinion is unanimous, and now I know how to spot a cracked screen.

              Thanks for the responses!
