Re: Viewsonic vp2013b flickering screen
It looks more like a T-con board problem. On smaller LCDs this is not replacable, yours might be an exception. The T-con is attached directly to the LCD panel and is usually at the top of the display. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: Viewsonic vp2013b flickering screen
Just to be sure, check the voltages on the 3-pin regulator IC's (I see 3 on the board) on the signal processing board (the board where you plug in the VGA cable) also. Also try heating up the T-CON board and the signal baord with hair dryer to see if the symptom changed.Never stop learning

Re: Viewsonic vp2013b flickering screen
I have tried to heat up the both board with a hair dryer and result stayed the same.
Checked the 3 regulators with following result:
Part number 1084-0544AL (located at u20 on the signal board)
pin 3 = 4.92
pin 2 = 1.81
pin 1 = 0.56
Part number 1084-0544AL (located at u16 on the signal board)
Pin 3 = 4.92
pin 2 = 3.33
pin 1 = 2.07
Part number LD1117-c550 (Located top center on signal board)
Pin 3 = 4.94
Pin 2 = 2.51
Pin 1 = 1.26
power was on when I test them.Last edited by belippy; 04-26-2012, 07:45 PM.Comment

Re: Viewsonic vp2013b flickering screen
They may be adjustable regulators, the output voltage is set by the resistor network on one of the pin.Never stop learning

Re: Viewsonic vp2013b flickering screen
ok, I already bought 2 new T-con boards. Nothing has improved.
After I install the first T-con, it's even worst.
And recently I've order a new one from some where else. Not much of a difference.
What else could it be?Comment
