I have the above model Vizio and until now it has been trouble free. It simply stopped having a picture. I checked the fuses and they are good, and after reading a number of threads on these TV's, I took the plunge and bought a new main board and replaced it only to find the problem remains. The TV powers up, logo goes from amber to white, will power on from either the remote or the power button and the sound is fine. The control board has a single green LED that glows steady. No other LED's light during the power up cycle. I haven't check power to the Y or Z boards yet, but based on the logo and the audio I am assuming the power supply is OK. Is there a way to isolate the Y or z boards to determine if one or the other is bad? Also, the X boards seems to be the one buried beneath the main board, so I suppose the problem could be there.
What would you recommend for the next troubleshooting steps. My skill level is limited to replacing boards. I'm thinking the YSUS board is most likely but am basing that only on the frequency with which that board is cited as the problem.
Thanks in advance
