I work on a small boom box which was acking like a

Here was what the problem .....> when you try to turn it on just bump on the speaker
no CD player no tape deck no radio not even on battery power

Took out the Blue ESR Meter start check the cap around the power supply
and found one cap which was a 100 uf @ 16 volt had a reading of 39 ohms

I check a new one that was 100 uf @ 25 volt with a reading of .17 ohms

I change this one cap and now the boom box work again

100uf 0.17 ohm sounds right.
