I've removed all four 680uF / 35V caps. I've got a couple 1000uF / 50V caps from work - do you think I can use these or should I just order the correct caps?
I'm a field engineer, not a design engineer. If I remember my college days correctly, I should still be within the 20% tolerance if these are wired in series. However, if they are wired in parallel then I'd be well over 30% off on total capacitance. I'm assuming they are just starter caps, and taken out of the circuit once fully energized?
