Hey everyone thanks for taking time to look at my post. I have an RCA Colortrak 2000 model glr2658P serial 522480234 chassis ctc131a (mfd May 1985). Great sounding console model and decent picture for age of set. When you press power, it cuts on and off repeatedly at a rapid pace until you press power again to cut it off. Sometimes the tv will stay on for about for 5-10 seconds, screen comes up, and it acts like its gonna work. Its funny but I had another '86 model table top colortrak that did the exact same thing but only after water was spilled inside the back of it. From searching through all the posts similar issues seem to be common with old RCAs. Not an electronics technician by trade but confident and stubborn enough to fix it. Power supply issue? I am searching through all of the posts trying to find some more information specific to my issue but in the meantime Im hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I have a digital and analog multimeter and am in the process now of locating schematic. Thanks so much to anyone offering their time to help.
