Toshiba 53" tv screen goes black and sound cuts off.

I have a Toshiba 53" TV rear projection, yesterday the screen went black and sometimes the sound was there but other times it wasn't. If I turn the TV off for a while then turn it on I can see a picture but then it starts going black then back to picture if left on long enough it will eventually go completely black. The model number escapes me right now but I can provide it if it is needed, I also have a short video taken with my phone that shows what it is doing if this would help (the video is poor though). Any help would be greatly appreciated I don't know how long I can stand to watch this 19" TV.

Macbook 2017 with touchbar (A1706) won't turn on after removing the screen
      by Ryan.man
Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

70LE660U dark cloud or black screen with sound.
      by Rozp
      Hello Everyone,

This is my first post so I will try to be as precise as possible without making this post too long winded. Unfortunately I don't have pictures of the original problem but I included images of the TV internals.

I have a Sharp 70LE660U. The problem started a few months ago with the bottom row looking out of sync and was dark on the left side and then fading to transparent on the right side. Shortly after, a dark cloud appeared in the center of the screen. The dark cloud started small and shaded but the image was visible. It also affected the menu area....

Samsung UN60EH6000F Black Screen, Backlight and Sound Good. Power Cycle Returns Picture
      by Mgiffune
I have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.

I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and
