    Vizio VW32L HDTV40A Shuts Off

First, thanks for all of the great knowledge contained in these forums. I've been able to bring back to life several tv's now. This one is a bit more challenging since there seems to be an intermittent issue. I've confirmed the power board is good and the inverter.

Vizio VW32L HDTV40A model. Can not find on vizios support page? TV powers up, works fine with HDMI, but when i switch to cable input it seems to short out and turns off the TV. If I leave the TV plugged in but turned off for over 20 min, it will not power on, just stays in standby mode. I'm looking for direction on troubleshooting the main board. I dont want to just swap the whole board out, but rather have the fun of trying to fix it.

Got it working. I dont have a cap tester but decided to start by replacing the TEAPO caps on the board. No luck on the first round. 2nd round I focused on the TAICON 16v 220uF caps, and that seems to have fixed it. I've had it powered up with no issues on HDTV OTA and Cable.
