Blown Bridge rectifier identity needed pls

Having bother identifying this bridge rectifier from a samsung lcd psu.

    BN96-03058a

It shorted, blowing the thermister before it. But now ive desoldered it i cant be sure of its value. It looks like a Taiwan Semicon part but i have no idea how the numbering for these components work. and as you can see from the image it is faded around the middle of the writing.

After some wildcard searches i came across this on farnells as the nearest pausable option however its rating seems to low at 200v?

What would be a suitable uprated replacement for it please guys?

Just to be safe you could replace it with something like a 600v, 8A bridge rectifier.

    Something like this:

Thanks for the input guys, will try and get better pics up. Macro on camera isnt so hot, ill try some better lighting.

An 8a 600v sounds like a plan tho, thanks

ps the link i tried to post above should have been

Here is the inverter board. well, it says inverter board, but the line voltage comes in here. TS4B05G bridge. I'm guessing this is the right board.

Bridge rectifiers and thermistors are in every power supply. Perhaps you have some junk AT ATX power supplies laying around.
            sig files are for morons

I have never purchased these either I just pull one out of an old power supply.
200v and around 8 amps sounds ok if used at line voltage. You need to check the curcuit this is feeding before you replace it. You may have a shorted switching mosfet near by. V in is important (easy to check). and current rating is also easy (size of rectifier). Radio Shack has these on their wall for a couple of bucks.

Thanks loads for the schematic, as it happens i have dozens of atx psu's in the shed i threw in there to canibalise bits off [mostly need recapping]. Pretty sure i will be able to find some doner parts there. Guess ill be fighting spiders at the w/e

Pulled the bits out of a 250w atx last night. 1000v bridge and a 5w thermistor. 10 minutes later and i had a working tv! Thanks for all the advice guys.

TV was given to me so not paying for any parts makes this all the more sweeter

                    Thanks again

Congratulations, nice work . Just for informational purposes, when you see a triangle with an exclamation point inside it on the schematic, it requires exact component replacement (no substitution allowed). This is to ensure the safety of the set.
Thats not a Fuhjyyu I used in your antec PSU its a HITACHI!! rofl lol lmao funni gui!

Re: Blown Bridge rectifier identity needed pls

Hey I have one of these boards looks to be the same problem.

A mate found this tv at the tip and the idiots tried to fixed it with a bit of foil on the fuse. So obviously it was shorting out.

Still works but the picture freezes up. Would there be more damage then a rectifier?

                        The IC looks fine.

Sorry for posting here, I just wanna see if this is a regular occurrence in these boards.

If you are getting a picture at all the rectifier is not blown. There would be no power at all. Suggest replace the fuse and start your own thread if you need help with the TV.
