    Hisense 75R63E backlight help

Hey everyone. Hoping someone has some insight as to what may cause brand new backlights look like this behind the diffuser sheet. I've done about 40 TVs and never seen anything like this. Any help is appreciated as this shows through to the picture during lighter color scenes.

I flipped it every way possible and still looks the same. I can actually see dark spots through the diffuser lense when the bulbs are off. Seems odd.

First photo is with backlights turned on and second one is with them off showing the dark spots where each LED is behind the diffuser. With them on, I get the same halo effect no matter how the diffuser is installed.

you did replaced LED BL many time as you wrote... the first Solid Plate had 2 surface.... one with small bubble and other smooth... smooth always on the top facing the rest sheets and LCD... no need to do try... if there are black sport on it, exam them if they are burn or dirty. this is strange.. also be sure the legs stand pieces are straight so this plate will sitting straight. as well the first reflector white paper should be mounted tight to the chassis.

Yup I've had this happen also. I had a panel issue, so I just tossed the TV but is basically same thing. I know for certain the diffuser was the correct way. When I put tv back together though I tore a ribbon off the panel lol and ruined it. I never decided to investigate further. I don't have an answer either, and for me it was only in the central area of screen as you see.

Think I could have received bad LEDs? Seems to me that the light is coming out around the plastic caps and not out the top toward the diffuser. Could be wrong but that's what I see. This is a picture with the diffuser sheets removed but white paper in place.

                      Both are concave.

feed the TV with signal that you will hear sound... then the LED currents will turn High... it may now low currents cause no LCD in place and no video signal.. better put the solid plate as described in order and try.

I had the TV back together and watched a football game on it. You can clearly see the LEDs on all light colored scenes. Darker colors look great. Messed with backlight and brightness which really didn't change anything.

I'm probably not a solution but the paper sheet is pushed down as far as possible? Generally they are taped down. Also, maybe the picture is to the side but are the LED caps off center? The picture shows them maybe sideways slightly, could be angle of cap.

Very curious myself because why did I have the problem only on part of one of my screens also lol.

LED lens fitting by Robot. with Laser position sensor,, no way for mistake..

LEDs if its specification higher as original will make shadow. same if the PSU current are low as it should... other reasons the order of the sheets.

I kept the diffuser sheets taped together so I didn't mess them up during installation. Really starting to lean toward crap replacement LEDs. I can't see the reflective paper causing uniform halos like this.

Hey I can't either. I'm just throwing a bunch of possibilities. I've had a diffuser sheet slide off the top before on something unstable. This happened in my picture also only on part of the screen.

I once forgot to put all the diffusers back and put the TV and screen back together lol dumb mistake. The screen looked very cool after I turned it on lol

this tv is throwing me for a loop. do samsung tvs no longer have the backlight self test feature built into the power supply?
i tested the backlight with my LED tester and it lights up both strips. one of them reads 100v and the other reads 63.7v.
unplugged mainboard from power supply but left backlight plugged in, and then plugged psu wall power in. expected to see backlights light up but see nothing.
according to how ive diagnosed in the past, this would almost always be a bad power supply. replacement power supply was cheap like 20$ from ebay. but still i get not even...

I joined hoping I'll be able to verify which component I need to replace on my Hisense 60R6E. When I plug it in the red light comes on and stays on for several seconds then blinks off and then on again. There is no back light but I can see the logo screen "Hisense Roku" (using the flashlight method) come on while the red light is off. Then it dissapears and the red light is constant again. This cycle keeps repeating. I tried pressing the reset button and it has absolutely no impact. Even held it in for 30 seconds also tried holding the power button in with the TV unplugged - nothing...

Guide me through repairing a Dell p2210f LCD ccfl backlight monitor
                                        by DanPoka
I bought this p2210f dell monitor to fix. Schematic is the same as p2210.
Behaviour is that monitors comes on but then backlight switches off almost instantly. If I look with flashlight I can still find the "No signal message". So definitely a backlight issue. Trying to advance the issue I proved that the protection circuit is switching off the backlight by shorting out C3 and resistor to disable the INL chip then re enable by removing the short.
This is where it gets interesting. When I disassembled the monitor to solder leads on c3 capacitor I noticed the backlight flickered...

                                        Hello all,

Am trying to figure out this backlight issue with this A1990 Macbook Pro.

                                        Tests performed:

There is no backlight even with a good screen.
Backlight IC is receiving the correct support voltages.
                                        Fuse F8400 ok
                                        Current sense resistor R8400 ok
Backlight IC is receiving 3.3V on enable pin.
Backlight IC receiving voltage from PPBUS_G3H, aprox 12.5V.
Backlight IC receiving 5V from PP5V_G3S
Backlight IC BKLT_SCL and BKLT_SDA both measure 0.545V diode mode to ground
                                        I2C_BKLT_SCL and I2C_BKLT_SDA both measure...
