H96 Pro Plus android TV box only shows blue light

H96 Pro Plus only shows blue light when connected to charger (tried a few even dc supply 5v), no powered-on and no display. However DC Supply showed 100mA or 110mA usage. any suggestion or clue from fellows will be appreciated.,.regards

The 2 amp power supply it comes with is under powered, try a 5 volt 4 amp power supply, also they run hot, so any way to cool them will help, some put holes in the bottom of case and sit them on a small fan, laptop fan would work, need to be careful if putting holes, don't want to puncture anything inside. I would probably try to improve the cheaply done heatsink and or use a fan and maybe take it out of the case and put ventilation holes all over the case, like I did with the cover of my firesticks.

I see from your picture that you have it out of the case, do you see anything that looks like a reset button?

To be clear, I would take it out of the case, then put ventilation holes in the case so nothing gets a hole that isn't suppose to.

Looks like you can update to android 10, which would make it more compatible with the current environment than android 6 or 7: https://gofirmware.com/content/h96-p...-to-android-10

Check the resistance to ground of the coils. They are the squareish devices with R2R and 1R0 etc marked on them.
Is there anything on the underside of the PCB ?

its firmware.... since the chipset Amlogic.... put it in download mode and flash it.. if it wont go to download mode,,,, on the Nand short pin 6-7 then plug in DC

DC supply was used which was of 3 ampere.
even tried to flash but stuck on 2%

you have open circuit / cut rail of ram /cpu

no schematic to Chinese TVs box at all.. the heat sink which cover the CPU not enough to protect the chip from heating.. so it happen an BGA issue under the chip.. and this known issue over Amlogic chips. which as my Box K1 Pro. from first Day i installed Fan 5V to avoid BGA issue.

from my experiences Amlogic. because of ability of dual boot but need to rework the heatsink

beside Android system on nand, it can boot Linux based system from SDCARD or USB

This h96 pro plus is just for the s912 correct, so there's no upgrading the cpu like you can in a pc?

Did you drill extra holes in the case for ventilation or was just adding fan all that was needed?

no drill at all... it had downside the box many holes for air cycling.. just glue the fan downside to push air inside + replace the heat sink with large one... so it keep cool even at summer time
