The single leds that you spend time replacing, will only buy time. The ones you dont replace have aged and will go out soon after. I suspect that tv is a 2015 or 16 model. Glad you bought new ones.

This tv is with sound but no picture. When light shines on the screen, we can see the image. This is a typical backlight problem. I opened it and found quite a lot of the leds are damaged. But the damaged ones are all shorted. No one is open. Is there a special reason? (From my past experience, both can be happened)

When I supply 3V to each of the good leds, the currents range from 105mA to 154mA. From these figures, I think the leds are 3V and about 0.5W. I plan to replace all the damaged leds only (because the price of the led strips is very expensive), but I could not find 3V 0.5W leds online. Instead, 3V 1W leds can be easily found. Can I use the 1W leds? (I think if the tv supplies a constant current to the leds, then I think using 1W to replace the 0.5W is no problem. But I do not know if the tv supplies a constant current or a constant voltage to the leds.)

One more question. Since there are quite a lot of damaged leds, I also plan to replace some more leds (which still light up but may fail very soon) so that the tv can last longer after repair. How can I find them? Will the current drawn give a hint on that? Which one will have a longer life left (the one will draw lower current or the one will draw higher current)?

Hey man if I can suggest something to you is just don't waste your time because you need only change all of led to do a best job. So don't give it to time of your life to do experiments, the bast way is change every strip. 👍👋

Well they are 3 volts, that's all I know.

Thanks for your suggestion. I have placed the order for the led strips.

But I still would like to know the answers to my above questions. They would be useful for me in case I have another tv which needs only to replace just a few leds.
