    [Help] LG 49LH570T Random Shutdowns

Hi, i was wondering if anyone can help me troubleshoot LG 49LH570T tv, initially it came for no power issue, but after leaving everything unplugged overnight, it started working in the morning when i was about to start diagnostics process.
It will turn on for 10 minutes and will die afterwards, and when i try to turn it on, a solid red LED will come up for few seconds, followed by two short blinks and then it completely shutdown, i have examined power supply and main board for visible damage or shorts, but its all fine.
The power supply PCB number is EAX66851401 REV 1.0.
One thing that i have noticed is that PSU makes hissing noise constantly

Sounds like the caps may be bad. You can try heating them with a hair dryer next time it won’t turn on and see if it works Or if you have esr tester

Look over the solder joints of powerboard very closely, reflow any that look suspect just in case, can search bad solder joints to see images if needed.

Fixed, After checking for cold/broken solder joints and hair dryer method, i focused on main board, and reflowing XD engine (LGE2111A-T8) BGA chip fixed the issue.
          Thanks everyone.

Glasd to hear it, if you can get a fan blowing on your bga it will last a lot longer.

Random Shutdowns/Startup Failure with Corsair SFX 450
              by h0m3w0rk
              Hello everyone,

I'm encountering a frustrating issue with my Corsair SFX 450 power supply. After an undefined period of operation, my PC will either suddenly restart or, in some cases, it won't start at all until I disconnect the power cable and reconnect it. This erratic behavior occurs intermittently, making it difficult to pinpoint the exact conditions under which it happens.

For context, I have tested the PSU using an electronic load at 150W, and under those controlled conditions, it functions flawlessly. This leads me to...

I've been using this monitor for last few years.

Symptom started by OSD menu popping on and off randomly by itself. So i tried to clean the touch control area with some cloth but it didn't help.

After 20 minutes monitor started hissing from the back. And then 30-40 seconds later screen started fade off/on like as if i was turning down the brightness that's when i turned it off by power button (hissing stops) and replaced it with spare monitor.

Today i opened up the monitor, excited to repair my first monitor (or big electronics) hoping it's a bad...

              Hello,
I have a retro laptop in which I have replaced entire upper body as damaged were CCFLs, new screen is the bigger version (15" vs. 14.1"). The laptop now has trouble going beyond POST screen or even staying in BIOS, it seems like it entirely cuts off power (as in videos). Earlier, it sometimes booted into Windows, but smallest load would shut it down, also Aida reported CPU temperature as 2 degrees celsius. In the schematics I can see LCDID1 line that differ when changing LCDs, but going back to the damaged screen doesn't change anything. I will be grateful for any tips...

Asus B85M-GAMER no hdmi output and random restarts
              by Prosatanosz
              Hi!

Asus B85M-GAMER absolute no hdmi output (not at start, not at Windows), and random restarts. Everything work, except hdmi and random restarts after 0.1-3 min. Restarts even in bios. On VGA Windows boots up fast, games and apps starts ok. Mem, psu, cpu changed, no luck. I need shematic, because i think the restarts caused by the hdmi failure.

Asus TUF Gaming FX506LX laptop just stuck at random time
              by Dreigas
              Hi everyone,

I've got a problem with my Asus TUF Gaming FX506LX laptop. I bought it as a non-working unit it had been completely drenched in a sweet alcoholic drink and was left for a year... When I got it, the motherboard wasn't in terrible shape, but I had to clean a lot of areas—about 1/5 of the motherboard. There was some corrosion, but I managed to clean it up and re-soldered where I saw issues under a microscope.

One of the two primary MOSFETs was fried (PQ33 fried and PQ34 were fine), so while I was waiting for a replacement, I desoldered it and created a short....
