65x900h with the panel from a 65x930d.
900H: model yr 2020, Samsung panel
930D: model yr 2016, Innolux panel
spec wise the panels are the same. the drivers and tcons are obviously different but what made me want to give this a try is that the wiring diagrams for the data signals going into the tcon for each tv were nearly identical. there are only a couple pins that i am unsure about and that is what brings me here.
the 930d has the DPS board where the 900h has none, however, if you follow the pins to the BM1 it would appear that the signals needed for the tcon just pass through the DPS board and are actually the same signal from the BM5 board.
after hooking everything up, there is nothing displayed to the donor panel. it isn't getting the panel_on signal is why. the only pin that is not the same is the PWM_I pin 24 of the 900h. is there a pwm signal on the 930 that is just labeled as something else that i can jump?
best case scenario is to get into the service menu of the tv where i can then do the tcon and SOC data transfer and hopefully it will accept the transplant lol but i have to get the screen on first.
